OTHER INFORMATION:
The translation by August Wilhelm von Schlegel and Ludwig Tieck (and his circle) of William Shakespeare’s dramatic works is one of the canonical German versions. Because the translation and first full editions of Schlegel-Tieck’s Shakespeare date from the early 1800s (roughly 1797-1810 for initial volumes) and later reprints ran throughout the 19th century, this edition likely dates mid- to late-19th century.

On the upper right of front page there is a round institutional stamp: "SIGILLUM DOMUS PRAGENSIS INSTITUTI MARIAE". This is Latin and translates roughly to: “Seal of the Prague House of the Institute of Mary.” So this book was likely part of the library of a Catholic or Marian educational institute in Prague.
