II Vintage Brass Snake Candleholder PAIR (ca. 1960 - 1970)

That I'm a snake affectionate is not a secret anymore I assume :)
A matched pair of brass serpent candle holders, their bodies coiled into silent guardianship. Rising from the earth, the cobra hoods bloom with engraved floral patterns, holding flame at the heart of the serpent’s crown. Objects of protection and awakening, where fire meets scale and devotion meets shadow.
These are decorative ritual objects rather than traditional temple pieces, made for interiors fascinated by mysticism and “exotic” symbolism. The brass casting, engraved floral symmetry, and the way the snake forms a grounded base are all extremely characteristic of Indian export metalwork, and sold through Europe (UK, France, Germany)
